Practical mastery of the art of coaching (tools, technologies, methods, philosophy) and practical application of professional activities for efficient solution of business tasks and improvement of management effectiveness.

The new economy calls for re-thinking of the part of an individual and implementation of new approaches in work with people. Today, people are no more a “resource” for business. We do business hiring people. We hire people who do business.

Format

For the period of 8 months participants are involved into an intensive program of development of leadership potential and coaching skills. It includes 128 hours of group work (8 modules 16 hours each) and 8 hours of individual coaching with each participant, professional supervisions.

Basic principles

  • Influence of participants over the content and process of training. Taking into consideration participants interests we jointly adjust the training program and choose optimal formats.
  • Training through practice. Program participants learn through their own experience, living and testing new approaches and tools in actual practice.
  • Generating a system perception of the training program common to all participants.
What we use to achieve the results of the program:
  • 90% of practical work, 10% of theory.
  • A single integrated system of tools for development of people and organizations, based on the unique experience of a team of trainers and prepared for easy learning and application in actual practice.
  • A team of trainers with different styles of training and different specializations, which allows improving understanding of the work of a coach consultant and a trainer.
  • The program is aimed at achieving your professional goals, which are formulated in the interview process before the start of the training and during the first modules of the program.
  • Direct perfection of counseling skills from the first modules of the program.
  • Buddying (interaction of participants with one other in order to support and intensify changes, as well as for improving the acquired skills).
  • Unique experience of trainers in real projects with companies such as Bank Societe Generale Vostok Bank, Uralsib, Mirax Group; Vienna Brewery Holding (BBH); Wimm Bill Dann, Surgutneftegaz, Ernst & Young, TGC-1 and others.
  • All proposed key conceptions, tools and methods are collected in a personal participants book that can later be used for self-guided work.
  • Feedback from both the program trainers and the participants.

Module 1

Coaching as a style of management and consulting. Principles, philosophy, technologies.
  • Formulation of personal and professional goals for the program.
  • What is coaching? Coaching and management. Coaching and trainership. Coaching and psychotherapy. Coaching and manipulation. Basic principles.
  • Structure of personality. Styles of interaction with people. Investigation of one’s own style of interaction with people. Methods of resistance to influence and manipulation. Management styles. Investigation of filters that affect both our perception of other people in general and the effectiveness of coach-consulting in particular (the mechanisms of projection, transference and countertransference).
  • Basic coaching skills. The connection technology (« »), active listening, the technology of asking special questions.
  • The position of a coach as the basis of effective work with a client.

Module 2

Goals in the process of coaching
  • What is a goal?
  • Criteria of a goal. Balance of goals. Motivation of stimulation.
  • Why would you set goals? Business objectives. Influence a leaders goals over team goals. Cross-linking of personal and business goals.
  • Technology of working with a goal (with yourself and others).
  • Goals on the verge of a growth.
  • Formation of basic skills of a coach: balance of non-judgmental perception of a client and deep empathy and support; an ability to feel a clients state and follow changes taking place in the course of a consultation; mirroring and summarization skills.

Module 3

Analysis of reality, methods of analysis
  • Limitation and resources. Analysis of limiting beliefs. Investigation of causes of limiting beliefs, attitudes, behavioral styles and their impact on life. Common difficulties encountered in analysis of a current and assessment of a previous situation and ways of their minimization.
  • Technologies used in coaching in the analysis phase.
  • Technology of work with limiting beliefs, aimed at their elimination and / or evasion.
  • Formation of basic skills of coaching: ability to work with an emotional state of a person, ability to unfold non-verbal processes. Integral map as a broad and most accurate picture of the situation. Using an integral map at the stages of analysis and search of opportunities.

Module 4

Search of opportunities to achieve a goal
  • Creativity as a resource required in coaching and management. Different ways to search for resources. Principles of development of the process of generating ideas for solution of personal and business tasks. Fundamentals of TIPS. Investigation of personal creativity by the participants of a group.
  • Importance of creativity for working as a coach. Enhancement of creative abilities.
  • Limitations hindering the creative process. Investigation and elimination of prohibitions.
  • Technologies facilitating expansion of the behavioral repertoire.
  • Technologies of working with a client at the stage of search of solutions.

Module 5

Decision making
  • Choice of best opportunities. Classical methods of making business decisions. Their application areas and efficiency. Reasons of their use in situations, where they are sure to be inefficient.
  • Understanding by each participant of their own methods of decision making.
  • Rational methods of decision making. Models of search. Risk assessment.
  • Intuition: origin. Attitude towards intuition in everyday life and business.
  • Features of logical and creative thinking. Logic and intuition: their interaction and complementarity.
  • The language of intuition. Features. Awareness of internal barriers hindering understanding and use of intuition. Techniques and methods to eliminate these barriers.
  • Mastery of methods to find and make the most effective decision for work with a client.

Module 6

Work with a group
  • Laws of development of a group. Basic skills for managing group work.
  • Management of group processes. Group dynamics.
  • Personality of a coach and its impact on the group. Development of skills to manage a group in the face of uncertainty, an ability to make a decision quickly, as well as choose a procedure adequate to a situation at hand.
  • Facilitating work of a group in everyday activities (meetings, conferences, forums, etc.).

Module 7

Coaching for a team
  • Organization and projects as an integrated system of three levels – “I” - personal, WE - corporate culture, IT hard elements (structure, technology, etc.). Basic principles of project activities, phases of project activities. Technologies and tools used by a coach while working with a project team.
  • Organization and a project as a reflection of the personality of the top figure.
  • Technologies and tools used by a coach while working with a project group.

Coaching within an organization
  • A coach consultant inside an organization their roles, mission. Who can an internal coach work with? Expected results of their work.
  • Scope of a coachs activities.
  • Essential prerequisites in an organization for successful work of an internal coach.
