Strategic Session for Almaz

Moderators: Yulia Tertyshnaya and Philip Guzenyuk, Consultants of the Coaching Institute.

Goal: Not only set long-term goals for the company development (for 3 years) in numbers and achieve them at whatever cost, but also develop a common (clear and shared by all company employees) image of the outcome and clear first steps.

Solution: A two-day organizational development session.

On the first day, the session accumulated the company’s management experience (discussing the company’s past and stages of development over 75 years, and showing photos from the company’s “family album”). After that, the vision of the future in the long run was discussed (the owner told the participants about 5 goals for the year, the conscious business model was used in combination with an integral map, the employees’ questions were answered).

The second day of the session included in-depth work separately with top management and the board of directors. At the end of the day, the outcomes of both were combined to achieve a double result. The outcomes included well developed goals and plans, as well as specific decisions on who and what will do after the session.
